    Log errors 2112

I'm getting the following repeated log errors on my 2112 running in client mode and connecting to a Skypilot commercial wifi server 300 feet away (very rural area), WPA.  Can anyone shed any light on the meaning of this error code?

I'm also experiencing intermittent bandwidth and connection problems that might be related.

Looks like your encryption is re-keying every 5 minutes on the dot.  Are these the only entries you see, or are they pulled from the middle of other ones?

Does your AP report dis and re-associations a lot for this client?

    Re: Log errors 2112

These are the only current log entries. I don't see any extra assoc and diassoc in the logs. The entries appear to be 5 min apart as you can see, and they're still coming every 5 minutes, with nothing else in between - that was the complete log at the time I sent it. I've been swapping (2) DLB2112s over the past few days in order to prove that the problem(s) was with the ISP and their Wifi device. When I found these error messages I was naturally concerned. I've always suspected that the "pipes" of the ISP are routinely overloaded causing daily slow downs I see, but I'm wondering if these errors shed any light on other possible problems. It's difficult to decribe the problems I've been having (last month or so) because they're varied so much over the last few weeks (until now). At this moment these logs (and the usual low bandwidth) are the only problems I see. I guess it's time to swap 2112s again and see if the other does the same - I suspect it will. I wanted to ask about this in the interim as the swap requires climbing a roof. BTW, thanks for your help. I'll check back and repost after checking logs on the other 2112.

    Re: Log errors 2112

I just setup the spare unit in a window that gets a good signal. It appears to have the same problem, as you can see in the short  log pasted below:

    Jan  1 00:06:37 kb_unit1-10912c kern.warn klogd: client mode Group Message 2-2 done
    Jan  1 00:11:37 kb_unit1-10912c kern.warn klogd: client mode Group Message 2-2 done

Since the distance to the ISP AP is only a few hundred feet power levels are set to lowest to avoid the units "shouting" at each other.  Beacon is OFF, turbo OFF, IAPP is ON. Mode = B+G. AP is using B. More setup info on request.

Both 2112s appear to be setup the same, but one is on the roof and the other is currently in a window. Is there any setting in the 2112 that could cause this, or is the ISP AP the more likely culprit? Could the ISP AP be setup so that it re-nogotiates encryption every 5 minutes for security, or to disconnect inactive clients?

BTW, despite the error messages both 2112s are functional.
