  • Wiki suggestion for "ping_watchdog" script

Just a couple quick suggestions: 1) Both ping_watchdog and rc.local will need to be executable to run, so they need to be chmod +x. (scp keeps the executable flag, so alternatively you could edit these files on a local linux machine, chmod +x them, and then scp them in without ever having to log in to the remote host. This works because the new DLB...

  • link two cpe 2-12 as point to point?

I have 4 of the older 2112 units, and they are setup to bridge in WDS. These new ones have the chipset and interface, and I can' figure out how to link them up as a transparent bridge. ie one 2-12 on one end, and another 1/2mile away creating a wireless connection. I hope they can do it... Any ideas what I am missing?

  • Trouble Resetting back to defaults AP Solo

I am unable to gain access to one of my AP solo's I've tried numerous times to reset back to defaults but nothing seems to be working. Are there any hints or advice that would help. I've followed the steps in the manual to reset, with assigning a static arp entry and then pinging the device with the specified packet size but I'm still...

  • DLB CPE 2-15 & VPN passthrough

It appears that the VPN passthrough on these boxes is lacking compared to previous verions of their CPE's. Is there anyone who's had issues with this? Is there a work around that is documented somewhere? I have yet to find it in the WIKI. Thanks, Bob

  • Conectivity Issue over AP-SOLO Bridge

I have two AP-Solo setup in bridge mode with propatary bridge enabled. The IP addresses of the AP's are on a different subnet (192.x.x.x) to the network that they are providing the bridge for (172.x.x.x). For the most part everything seems to run great. Then I started getting complaints from users that they were periodically loosing connection to...

  • Ligo AP Duo / DLB AP Duo

Are the older ( first generation ) LigoWave Duo units the same power output as the present AP Duo? I had to use the spare I had which was the older Ligo (now DLB APDuo) and the performance just doesn't seem to be there. Jeff

  • Basic VLAN Question

Hey, I've got tagging working on my solos/duos, works great. Now I'm trying to setup the router side and I have a conceptual question. Here's what I'm trying to do: share a common DHCP pool across VLANs, use a single subnet across multiple VLANs (so users can easily roam from one AP to the other), and not route broadcasts between VLANs...
